If you have actually thought about the issue beyond memes MBTI and Astrology aren't similar at all. Astrology presupposes that personality is linked to the stars (some of the reasoning offered to why that is is actually pretty sophisticated, with some theories like Al-Kindi's Stellar Rays basically predicting electromagnetism, but again, nuance in belief is completely absent to memebrains) and tells you what your personality is or should be. MBTI is instead you telling what your personality is through the test, and the results of the test are just a form of categorization. You can argue that this categorization isn't useful, sure, but I would have to disagree, as the iNtuitive-Sensing axis is a great predictor of NPCdom; the Sensing type being the NPC of course.

Astrology and Meyers Briggs are nothing alike, though.
Astrology professes that the relative position of the planet at the time of your birth, or currently, dictates your whole personality. This is obviously a retarded belief only a fucking moron would subscribe to.

Meyers Briggs is the attempt to categorize human behaviors into a few different archetypes that undoubtedly exist. While too limited in scope to be all-encompassing, it is still maybe something to consider.

The only thing common between the two is the Forer effect.
Which means
