That's a good chart, but what's it aiming at? I feel like the author didn't really go one way or the other, looks like Libidinal Materialism core except no Reich, no Bion, no Land (except for cyberpositive), no Lyotard, no Brassier, no Schreber, no Rimbaud, no Proust, no AntiOedipus (!). However it adds Borges, Kant, Joyce, Barthes, so I may be wrong

Just don't bring books you read up all the time with normies and you'll be good. That "tryhard" one is mostly a meme because it's made up of a lot of books /lit/ used to rate very highly (with some exceptions that I think were just pet peeves of the chartmaker).

Don't worry about that so much. You have to remember that most people just read things assigned to them in classes, and maybe what their friends read later in life. Just taking on the challenge of reading literature for fun when you aren't being forced is an independent decision if you ask me.

Hey /lit/, I'm new to reading so go easy on me. I'm looking to develop well-rounded knowledge on a vast amount of topics so I know at least a bit about most things. Things like history, technology, language, philosophy etc. Mostly non-fic. Then I can go more in depth on the topics that most interest me.

Is there any chart on the top books for the main categories?

1) Neither chartist finished the books or encountered the re-valuation portion
2) Nietzsche's gravitational pull on most intellectuals is so great that most chartists "check the box" by including him
