One that makes the same case or just any angle in the same way?
Doesn’t he name drop plenty?

Doesn't have to make the same case. Just one as informative and bitingly critical yet elucidating.

It's not going to make me misanthropic though, is it?

I’ve only dipped my toes into Leviathan, but if that’s your criteria, you might also like Sadie Plant’s Zeros and Ones (is it Zeds and Ones in England?)

I have my eye on
Principia Discordia and other works by Robert Anton Wilson
The World We Must Leave, Jacques Camatti
The Unnameable Present, Roberto Calasso
Civilized to Death, Ryan
And maybe Portable Darkness by Crowley
Maybe Christopher Lasch Might interest you

No, but it will make you curious to the idea of suicide.

Actually read a fair bit of Calasso’s The Unnameable Present. It was angsty and very thought provoking, had to put it down for some reason, but I want to get back to it

Very nice.

If you've read Perlman, it's probably time to see the Leviathan itself in action. Take it out of the abstract into the concrete.

Lots of ways you can do this, but I recommend watching the documentaries Earthlings and Dominion. Both are on factory farming, uncensored. Time to see what Perlman really means by the rape of the biosphere. And yeah, it did make me a misanthrope.

Some of these in my orbit already. Nice list thanks.

Will watch. Any reads though?
