My short story is about three friends returning home where they grew up. It's about how they have changed since leaving home. How they aren't really friends anymore and about the main characters attempts to salvage his childhood aspirations and outlook from the facade of the home he comes back to. It's about the gradual recession of your points of reference as you age.

I've got one in the back of my mind that I'll never get off the ground, a kid detective and her street-urchin sidekick walk in on her latest client's parents fucking and do double-time solving the asinine original Nancy Drew mystery with the more personal 'did I just witness an attempted murder and why were they naked' mystery using kid's logic.

Writing one inspired by the fate of pic releated and about orbiting in general. Might be a bit quaint in times of OnlyFans but I'm not so fussed, I find the older less commercialized form of "simping" more interesting.
