>> No.15803187

Zero. I won't and can't read half a page if I've masturbated or fucked in the hours preceding it. No focus. Can't think. Will just keep doing it again and again after. Used to read. Now I just coom and shit post here because it reminds me of the days when I used to be happy and read all the time.

>> No.15804792

None, I've taken a break from reading to focus primarily on drawing and on watching lectures. Though I am really close to finishing my last book, so it does bug me that I can't finish it any time soon.

>> No.15804813

>>15804792
What do you tend to draw?

>> No.15804852

>>15804813
To be quite honest, its only recently I've started drawing anything of value. Everything up to this point over several years has been almost uninterrupted strings of drawing exercises, small sketches lasting 15 minutes, or still lives of random objects I see lying about.

I've finally decided to set aside a month or two to sketch and eventually draw a character from my imagination. Its going better than expected, thus far, which I'm happy to say.

>> No.15804862

I read 10 pages a day if I really put some effort in it. I generally read the same page two or three times to absorb all information. But right now I'm reading How to Read a Book to become faster, while still trying to avoid neglecting information.

read the first 20 pages of Goeothe's Faust for some reason i thought it would be written like a normal novel eventhough i knew it was a play.... Also why does Mephistopheles even make a bet with God to try and persuede Faust, he seems kind of empathetic to the humans in his very first appearance?

Imagine examining to Kayne for a deviated septum and confirming it with the exposed cartridge under his nose as he moves it to one side. Then, imagine the scalpel, the hammer and the chisel, and cutting away the collapsed section, and further reducing the sinuses and turbinates while you're at it. Then imagine a few weeks pass and his nose is good as new and doesn't bother you anymore and he thanks you immensely.

um about thirty pages i think. I am reading Alexander of Macedon by Peter Green. I finished chapter 3 today. It's good though all the names of people and places are hard to keep straight so I just keep reading even if it gets confusing. the minutiae isn't really important to me.
