This fucking thread. Anyway, the book is very good, stylistically genius and polemically powerful. BAP zaps insights straight into the spinal juices, Nietzsche style. I particularly liked the whole evolution conspiracy thing; how he develops it into the yeast/ascendant life criticism -- a beautiful distinction.

Really he just crystallises some of the most currently relevant Nietzschean insights through a modern take on the aphoristic style. It isn't, content wise, that original. As he said, it's an exhortation, a polemic, a call to arms. However, people who think this is a self-help book got the wrong end of the stick, in a way it is quite depressing. People who actually read it will understand what I mean.
