What hi-test books are you reading currently?

>> No.15696117

Confessions of a Mask by Yukio Mishima. If this doesn't get you to order a bench set and place it in your backyard (or some convenient spot in your apartment) then I don't know what will.

i’m halfway through Runaway Horses. the plot is finally picking up. i think i liked Spring Snow better so far, but i’m all in and will be finishing the series

This is retarded. I'm all for the concept behind fitlit, I enjoy exercise and do it for aesthetic purposes mostly, but the idea of "hi-test" books and similar shit is fucking stupid. Reading books by some incel who decided that maybe he shouldn't sit on his hands all day doesn't mean jack shit. Read what you want and lift however you want, but do it in silence.

Americans can’t enjoy something if it’s not for other people’s attention. They are the most vapid and boring creatures to exist

Very loudly.

It seems more that they can't, let's say, enjoy something without finding an excuse for it. In this case it's the stereotype of readers being weak or people that workout being stupid.
