Is this a good bible?

As far as the translation goes, it's a Catholic edit of a distinctly Evangelical Bible, and the ESV is somewhat contentios. However, the ESV does flow very well, and if you have any theological background (or can read a study Bible's footnotes, or can read commentaries and other theological works) then it'll be fine.
For the binding and quality, I don't own one but I read that the binding is decent and it looks good aesthetically speaking, but I'd prefer for it to have a hardcover or leather cover as an option.
Frankly, depending on your denomination, there's a lot of good options, though if you're a newcomer to Christianity I'd recommend going to church, or using the translation that that church would use, because of the pandemic.
That said, since you [ideally] aren't reading it sans any extra works to help explain parts of it, the translation isn't too important, so long as it's readable, though some translations are better than others and slightly geared towards different theological perspectives.
So I suppose
