I wanted to make art, bros. I wanted to be like you. I wanted to read and write for a living, make music, produce movies, take photos, enjoy the thrill of a live performance or a successful interview conducted by a genuinely adoring fan. But here I am, learning finance so I can get a normie job and feed my wife Jessica and our son Adam. I feel like I wasted my one shot at life for not taking Art seriously and trying as hard as I could to make a living out of it when I had free time.

LOL. Let this be the fate of all normieniggers.

Are you people incapable of maintaining a hobby? Make your art over the weekend.

Making a living out of something is not the only way of doing something, fren.
You can use your free time to pursue art as a hobby. A lot of writers had a life of a normie job before writing something. I mean, having years of experience is extremely helpful if you wanna write about the human nature accurately or simply get an emotion out of someone. You should focus in providing for your family, as this is the most honorable thing a man can do, but you should also find the time to write on the weekends

Remember: you were able to procreate. You literally have a family. You have achieved the ultimate goal of a man, a goal that many will die dreaming about. You will see your child grow older. You should be happier.

Literally this. You’ve got a wife and kid. That’s better than most here. Do your shit on the weekends and focus on providing for your family on the weekdays. It’s not rocket science

it's this simple. Most great works of literature weren't written by someone who did nothing but write.

It’s better than taking art seriously and resorting to SSI, disability, and Section 8 housing for your bipolar disorder. I hope at least that when I die my artwork will be appreciated.

First half of the last century was more productive than the second as regards the arts; making the time to read/write whatever shouldn't be an issue, you're thinking about it non-stop as is (or ought ot be).
