Trouble in the current year.
>be the 1930's
>WWII starts
>Men leave, mothers are forced to work for the first time
>WWII ends
>All the men go home and have a lot of sex
>Baby boom ensues
>Parents are having more children survive into their teens than any other generation before
>less parenting than any other generation
>feminism gets spicy
>an entire generation abandons their God
>an entire generation suddenly has access to carefully programmed media
>an entire generation adopts their own version of moral relativism
>the family unit essentially disappears overnight
>premarital sex ramps up exponentially
>more and more children are raised without 2 parents
>more and more children are degenerate/delinquent
>know one has any living frame of reference for what a ''good family/person'' is supposed to be
>be 2020
The fall of the west lands on the shoulders of those who were raised without God, without a father, and without morality. The only way we can fix the world is if we all turn unto Christ. Religion is ironically what the current state of the world needs more than anything else. If everyone just decided to start living the 10 commandments then we'd all be living in a utopia by 2030

I agree.

Our religious faith is lost, though, and I don't see why it would return.

What do? Keep tradition up for tradition's sake?

That’s kind of the point of tradition you moron

You’re incurably dumb if you think secularisation began with WWII and the Baby Boom. Anyway it’s entirely possible that the world will desecularise due to the high fertility rates of fundamentalist religious groups (there used to be 5,000 Amish in 1900. Now there are 300,000. Their population doubles every twenty years. If present trends continue they will make up half the US population in two centuries). Sadly the version of religion that will take over the world will be psychotic Orthodox Jews and Mormons and shit.

I honestly think we should all take the time to read the scriptures and return to church. Lift where we stand. Do what we can to help our fellow man.

>Mormons
Seriously though if they ''took over'' it would be 100% better than the dystopian nightmare that exists in our current reality.

A tradition should be based on something meaningful. Without meaning they're empty gestures. I'm saying, maybe there's nothing else we can do than cling to those empty traditions.

True, tradition is not the worship of ashes but the preservation of fire.

All we are left with is the ash. Is worshipping the ash better than nothing?

Yes but I believe there will always be a flame for people who want to look for it.
