It’s a good example of how a lot of these meme thinkers are actually very credible and insightful when they write about their actual field of study. Think Peterson and psychiatry/historical symbolism, Chomsky and linguistics etc. They too frequently try to branch out and comment on literally everything and it inevitably results in them showing their asses, like Dawkins being disregarded as some dull atheist rather than a leading authority on genetics
