Here's what I think it is, you can form adjectives by adding the 'al' suffix to nouns, such as nature-natural, base-basal, etc. Horrific entered English around the 1650s, apparently either from horrifique(French) or horrificus(Latin). At the time spelling wasn't standardized and you probably had various spellings of adverbs with and without the 'al' addition, until many ended being the long form.

Though you still have both for words that I guess didn't use the long form adjective as much, like public. Publical isn't used much, so you see publicly, and there used to be nonstandard publically. See also how words like ironical seem to have died out, though ironically is still used instead of ironicly.

I can't find anything specific about this subject, I just collated the above from a couple sources so it might not be that accurate.

Climate change is a psuedoscience that has happened because in order to continue their research, scientists must convince their handlers that their work is important so they can recieve grants. That is they have every incentive to predict that climate change is going to kill everybody and no incentive to actually try and prove it wrong, to do so would be to actively try and destroy their own job and probably their reputation. (imagine a real scientist who actually tried to uncover error in a field full of people with a smarter-than-thou puritan attitude like Bill Nye).

All the disastrous predictions made by climate scientists are basically impossible to prove wrong because it's computationally impossible to model the atmosphere. It's just statistics with ideology piled on top.

Science has become a cult. People use science now not to discover, but to reinforce. If someone proposes a scientific study and people fear the results may be less than politically correct, the experiment is not permitted to continue. Funding is cut. The scientist is blacklisted. And if the results are undesirable they are altered because the scientist feels they have a moral obligation before they have a scientific obligation. This is why the scientific community can't agree that the Chinese Flu came from China. This is why a nobel prize winner who cracked the human genome is blacklisted for suggesting genetics implies differences between races. This is why Bill Nye the science guy champions 616 genders.

This book.
I was a left winger until I discovered the reason why my opinions had been taught to me. It was an eye opener, and I now devote my money, time, and labour for the reactionary right in order to try to make up for my foolish, destructive labours on behalf of the cultural neoMarxists who were using me against my own interests.

No it doesn't. Isreal has a fucking awful history recorded in the Bible and Jesus end up calling them sons of Satan. Literally every Christian is called to be as humble as it gets and only look at your own sins without judging anyone.
Ofcours majority of Christians aren't like this at all and they think they are better people but they've totally missed the point of why we are saved. The road that leads to reach true Christianity is very hard and it requires alot of Self denial.

You are absolutely delusional if you think there is a single thing you said in either of your posts that is not actively contributing to the "what they want to hear" factor of Christianity.
You are operating on have your "cake and eat it too" levels that should not even be humanly possible. Not only you are told what you want to hear, you are also told that you are not told what you want to hear, because you want to hear it.

The absolute memetic power is uncanny. The literal act of faith, the believing of the what you want to believe because you don't think it's warranted, this itself is part of the very struggle that proves to you that you engage in self denial.

Now why do you think a minority might stand athwart the proto-fascist and fascist impulses of modernity yelling stop? This is all superficial. To actually understand you have to go down another level into why that group exists in the first place. This is the same monotheism that rebelled against the Roman empire multiple times because it couldn't stomach being integrated. It then gave rise to Christianity (and Islam) which carried on the claim to posses the one truth/falsehood distinction. From the synthesis of their own ideas with Hellenistic Rome then sprang the very Western European civilization they now "critique" for being oppressive to them. In truth the criticizer and the criticized cannot be separated.

Are you genuinely asking? It's a theory and practice invented by Freud. Sort of hard to pin down what exactly it is, it's not really philosophy and it made no pretensions to empirical validity at the time(there are now some studies showing that it might have positive long term effects but these are recent).

Other people after Freud continued to theorize, and it's a therapeutic discipline, mostly for rich people. It's not regarded very well in academic psychology, though Freud obviously contributed ideas that influenced the field. Philosophers and literary critics and so on have taken it seriously though.

I guess the most central concept is the unconscious mind and its effects on the conscious mind and behavior. A whole kind of architecture is built up through your life in the unconscious because of things that happen to you as you develop, and psychoanalytic therapy tries to deal with these unseen areas to address problems the conscious psyche has. It's all rather complicated how it's supposed to work.

There were ideas in the 19th century that were similar as well. Notably Schopenhauer, who Freud maintained he had not read, which seems a bit dubious.

But Freud and his followers elaborated a whole complex theory and method, so you have to look at psychoanalysis as its own thing, even if it is presaged by earlier ideas.

However there are also oil companies that suck up to the narrative (Shell) so again the point is about incentives. Science shouldn't be done with a conflict of interest, it should be done out of curiosity like it was originally before government centralized it and made it a political thing.

I think if it really interests you anon, you should read papers by climatologists or geologists on the issue. Read both people who suggest that the climate is changing due to human factors, and those who suggest that it is a natural process. Then, you synthesize the two and form your own conclusion on what it means to you. Also, remember to not confuse the map with the terrain; science is not about uncovering objective truths. Science is about making predictive models about an objective reality independent of subjective interpretation.
