objective is made up just like subjective. obviously not everyone is affected by the same literature the same way

Are you sure? Is that a universal claim?

Yes, when you want to communicate with simple people or make sure you just want to convey some idea. Like a text book or something.

No, but bad writing is objectively bad.

If you have to ask, it isn't. No one ever wonders whether the principle of non-contradiction or the second law of thermodynamics are objective or not.

Yes, but it doesn't really matter for the discussion of it.

Now that I thought about it a bit, you can write subjectively to simple people, but they will have a hard time interpreting it.

Objective things create subjective feelings
In the Last Jedi, Luke objectively dies. The feelings this instills in the viewer is subjective, as it varies from person to person.

No, because millions of people think shitty writing is "objectively good."

This book is just a frustrating mess. The author uses a ton of made up words without any description at all. He will actually skip events that are unfolding in the most abrupt awkward way so you have no idea what happened and he will never clarify later. The main character has no redeeming qualities. He routinely does and says things for no reason and will screw over friends and lovers then tell himself internally he "loves" them. No exaggeration he goes off to have sex with another girl comes back to his lover who is weeping because she knows what he is doing and he never says a word about it to her or even addresses it internally. Both women just keep traveling with him like nothing happened. There are entire sections of the book that are actual nonsense. They are supposed to sound deep and symbolic but they dont make any sense at all and have no bearing on the plot and it's a chore to read through. The main story seems intriguing but it is so thinly stretched across chapters of Severian wandering without purpose I actually forgot what his motivation was if he even really had any. You waste so much time with this unlikable character and the actual plot barely progresses at all. What is worse is, nobody calls him out. He doesn't learn anything morally or socially and everyone likes him for absolutely no reason at all. He isn't ever funny, or nice, or helpful, or interesting he is the most bland person in fiction and all these people worship him and praise him. I've never seen so many words used to say so very little. I'm not continuing with the next book.
