Why was pedophilia less taboo fifty years ago than it is today? I mean Sartre and Foucault did this and are still respected today, but Amos Yee did the same thing a few years ago and is now viewed as an irredeemable monster. If ‘Pretty Baby’ was made today the people who worked on it would probably be thrown in prison and beaten to death. Even being attracted to 18,19,20 year-olds is frowned upon. How did we go from this to practically having contests over who hates pedophiles more?

Confirmed to live in a cave. No one gives a fuck whom you date and at what age. All my gfs were/are younger than me, I would never date someone my age, and I never got bothered by anyone.
If the age limit of 16-18 really bothers you, then you aren't right in the head, because most girls at that age are still immature kids that aren't worth the trouble of messing with.
