It's kind of fucking kino the way this dude didn't even finish high school, flunked out of college, got fired from his job as a postman for reading too much, refused to be a wagie, kept pushing and became a master with 4 indisputable masterpiece novels and many top-tier short stories.

How do I learn from him as a writer? How do I become more like him? And lastly, is Faulkner literature for chads or incels?

You ever get the eerie feeling that the dumb catchphrases you use as jokes/shorthand are the actual categories zoomers now think in

I absolutely know it is. There was a post a couple days ago where OP was asking about how to keep himself from thinking in memes. I replied with "memes are a PSYOP to discourage people from forming original thoughts."

Unfortunately if I don't add in something retarded, people won't post in this thread

Just to be perverse I'll answer sincerely.

>CHAD OR INCEL?
Like most people in real life he was a mixture of the two. To some extent he was a poseur. He pretended to be an aristocrat which he wasn't; he pretended to have flown in WWI whereas he never did, etc. Also he fell in love with a girl and then waited for her when she married someone else and then married her when her husband died, IIRC. On the other hand he was certainly chadly in many ways. He did his own thing and compelled people to take him seriously by sheer overwhelming will and talent.

>How do I learn from him a a writer?
Read his books.

>How do I become more like him?
Trying to do that is a waste of time. But if you really like him, it won't hurt to try to write some pieces in his style. At the least you'll appreciate more how he achieves some of his effects.

>Is Faulkner literature for chads or incels?
Some chads and some incels will like his books. Reading him won't make you one or the other.

Yes, and Neitzsche. These two feel cliche by now, but both deal quite extensively with acceptance of one's shadow. Jung says "How can I be substantial if I do not cast a shadow? I must have a dark side also if I am to be whole." Indeed, recognizing one's desire and capability for evil is fundamental to the Superman. Jung's ideas are profoundly helpful in this.
