Absolutely imperative it is to get yourself comfortable with Marx's ideas which you can do easily online without even reading Das Kapital.

Marxism has some at least interesting insights on capitalist society, class relations, and so on. Even if you don't adhere to Marxist ideas, I think it's worth the read.

Now, studying Marxist economics is a waste of time in the 21st century. Study mainstream economics, instead.

no? it’s good to be aware of the most prominent anti-capitalism ideology ever to be constructed, and there are some good ideas in there even if communism is a failure. modern day capitalism gives rise to some cold, soulless behavior, which is not to say marx’s ideas are a valid substitute but yeah. at the very least you can use the material to formulate dialectic that will make capitalcucks and stubborn wagies seethe

Can’t do anything about it. As the far left increasingly embraces globo homo and liberals and conservatives become indistinguishable the working class will turn to the far right. It’s an objective historical process.

To be fair, I don't think Marx was anti-religion in the way modern atheists are anti-religion. Like, he believed religion was a way of dealing with the harshness of everyday life and likened it to a medicine (opium was widely used as an anesthetic in his time). Marxism is anti-religion because in their ideal workers' utopia there would be no need for religion because life would be that much better.
Religion is only negative in the sense it can helps to keep the system stable.

Yes. It's peak contrarianism, which is always a waste of time in the long run.
