Feel free to contribute, we still making a chart or two, and this is done for good.

To the original OP: I lost all the shit you have with other chart ideas.

Also, what are you reading and why is it trash?

Remember, we can discuss in english, and blame others for being poor in spanish.

I'm expecting a sage, but fuck it.

I just read Espronceda's Estudiante de Salamanca and, frankly, it was far from trash. However it certainly isn't as impactful as when it had just come out due to his particular vanguardist æsthetic no longer being as shocking.
His «Diavlo mundo» and «El Pelayo» are much more up my alley; I'm about to read «El doncel de don Enrique el doliente» by Larra, which I'm certain I'll love.

To the anon who has been shilling Carpentier's Concierto barroco: You convinced me to buy it. I got the Atalanta edition which also comes with "Viaje a la semilla" and a nice essay on Carpentier as an afterword. I'll probably read it on May or June

I'm sure I won't. I've been interested in reading Carpentier for some time, and you gave me the perfect excuse to read him.

>>15168325
I found it rather inexpensive in Amazon ($300 Mexican pesos). I personally don't like Atalanta very much, but that edition looked nice enough.
