What is the best STEM major for somebody who would rather study philosophy, history, or the fine arts? Math? Physics seems cool but it looks like there is a lot of slogging through boring shit before you get into the interesting stuff

>> No.15160417

Probably
You'd have to be decent at Maths/taking concepts in in the first place
But it can give you time seeing as a lot of the time you just have exams/tests instead of big projects
If you are into grundlagen autism then there is option for that too

I'm studying computer engineering. No regrets so far. If I were rich and in another nation I would've gone for art, but so far this is my only realistic option at not being a poorfag.

In a discussion about learning philosophy, they'll say you're a directionless psued if you are not talking to others as you study philosophical works like Plato, etc. Plato cannot be read and fully understood by an uber-incel, but rather in correspondence with a mentor, thus demanding oratory and rhetoric. How true is this in practice? Would this vindicate (some) academic institutions?
