Why? Who knows what life really is, or really is for? Perspectivism is what is true. For some, this experience is one that was simply not worth it. You know that this calculation is not an irrational, stupid, or foolish one in extreme cases. We all know that a person, born with some kind of horrendous disfigurement or disease that causes them constant and intense pain would want to end its existence, and we might even think it wrong to not help it along in doing so. Some are simply suffering this deeply, but in spirit, in soul. And this may even be a more tragic fate, for no one around you even knows, and you are alone.

He came to speak about the calls of the Weddel seals and other Antarctic noises, which aren't particularly understandable. You can plot the sounds as they correspond to seal behaviour. There is much to learn about Antarctica, there are very strange sounds there. I recall him talking also about abnormal sounds from ice movement and mesospheric infrasounds caused by spook shit like the Aurora Australis and other polar phenomena.
