So, this based motherfucker had a TV program in which at midnight he narrated classic tales of horror with a twist: His own ennerving, strange and weird way of narration. Poe, King, Hearn, Jacobs, Bierce, Kurosawa, Po, Mujica Láinez, Campbell, Stocker, Lovecraft, Merimée, among many others.

Amazing. Please enjoy:

Here we go:

MY FATHER'S HEAD

Why am I here? I do not know why I am here, nor who are all these people, I cannot understand anything, the management is dressed in white, we in gray pajamas, I know perfectly well that this is a madhouse, but it is not my place, I am not crazy. Now, I really don't know why I did what I did, but that doesn't mean I'm crazy. I loved my father very much, I think that a better father cannot have a son than the one he had, he was like a giant five meters tall, a genius, like a God, for having the father I had I was really privileged, privileged ...
We lived together, me alone with dad, since mom died when I was very young, he gave me advice, very good advice, he was a real father, he gave very good advice, too bad I couldn't follow even one, for example he said, with good reason:
-Hey, bastard! It is time for you to study or work, you are already 20 years old, you cannot continue living at your father's expense all your life.
Dad was right, he was absolutely right.
-Hey!, other boys are after the girls, but not you, you just stay here all day, that way you're never going to give me a grandson, you're already 20 years old, you're big.
He was right, Dad was always right, he was a genius, everything, he knew everything, I wanted to talk to the girl, I didn’t had the encourage to talk to her, but how am I going to approach her?, they must be overwhelmed, I do not know how to overwhelm a woman, if you do not overwhelm a woman, she will never be around with you no matter how young and beautiful you are, and how will I overwhelm them?, I am a plaster, like this, all shabby, tough, always looking at the girls with eyes as fried eggs, if I'm unhappy, I'm afraid of them, don't you feel insecure, right? I do, all my life.

Dad made the food, he was a very good cook, I don't even know how to prepare a fried egg, I wanted to learn when I was a boy, but Dad laughed at me and said to me:
-Eeeh!, This is not for you! Cooking is an artist thing, you have no talent for this, go, go, go and wash the dishes!
Of course, I am going to tell you something, I am a very good carpenter, because a good carpenter of course I am, a very good carpenter. At home, in my spare time, which was the most, I made tables, toys, chairs and everything very perfectly, and that made Dad very angry, he said:
-You are good at making nonsenses !, since you are good to make nonsenses , why don't you get a job at a carpentry? That way you would bring a little money home, but no! It doesn't occur to you, it doesn’t even flies past you!
I laughed because it’s something that happens to me when i’m given advice and I had already thought about employing myself in a carpentry, but Dad telling me to employ myself in a carpentry was enough for my desire to go away, haha, I don't know why I am like that, my desire was gone.
I am a mystery, even to myself, a very boring mystery honestly, but mystery in the end, I don't know why I did what I did, but I'm not crazy. It was there when I started thinking about the crossbow, do you know what a crossbow is? It is used to shoot arrows, it is like a rifle but without powder, it shoots arrows with more precision and more force than a bow.

I didnt say that it isnt good .

So in a little walk I had, I saw in an armory that there was a crossbow, I entered, I asked the owner to show it to me, I had it in my hands and immediately I understood the mechanism, I went home and I made myself one, with pieces of wood and bronze, I am a very good carpenter. I tried it in the patio, i’d shoot it at a 10 meters distance, then as always every day we were the same, to eat and after eating, I pretended to go to my room to do things and he protested “ah! , this one doesn’t wash the dishes immediately after eating, always leaving things for last”, my father was grumbling and I returned to my room on the tips of my feet and pointed the crossbow at him, I was not going to shoot him. How am I going to shoot my father? Well, no! I'm not going to shoot my father, but I was excited to aim an arrow at his head, how could I shoot him?
Until one afternoon, it was a day like any other, he gave me more and better advice than ever, and I don’t know why he started to talk about Dolores, he said to me:
-Hey, Dolores looks at you a lot, what are you waiting for to flirt with her ?, that way you would give me a grandson.
Dolores is a girl from around here by the corner, she is the one that I would have liked to approach, of course I would have had children with her, so frankly when he said that, I lost my appetite, I told Dad I was no longer hungry and I went to my room and returned with the crossbow, as he was grumbling as always:
-Eh!, this one doesn’t wash the dishes right after eating, always leaving things for last.

Dad was grumbling, and then I did pull the trigger, the arrow that had lead tips because I made lead tips for them, it entered the nape of his neck and he fell to the floor without any moan, with convulsion ... convulsion ... I couldn't believe it, I thought Dad was going to live forever because a man so tall, five meters tall, a miserable arrow coudn’t do anything to Dad, Wrong! , it entered like a bullet.
I approached him and saw that he was still alive, so I shot four more arrows in his head, not the first one, I felt a kind of hatred and love, or whatever and I do not know why, but I shot the other four out of charity, out of pity, so that he wouldn’t suffer, so that he wouldn't suffer, of course.
Then I realized that something was wrong, I went to my room and brought a pillow, I took the arrow from the nape of the neck that was the first, the one that had brought the nuisance, and turned him face up to put him to rest, I didn’t took off the other 4 arrows, he had like a crown of thorns, and it is logical because for a father having a son like me was a real cross, that's true! That is why I was surprised by what the police asked me, why I have done such a strange thing to remove the arrow from behind and turn him face up, I did it so he could rest, to be calm, to be more comfortable, that's why I did it.
It's been 10 years since they brought me to this place, and I don't understand why, truth is, I always loved my father, he gave me such good advice. My father’s head, I always admired my father’s head, the center of all his power, the head of a genius, the head of a king, the head of a God.

Another post on the Untranslated about Laiseca's works

He wrote a short story based on a true story about an elderly couple that got threatened and had to fled their farm in Colombia in the 80's, so they arrived at Bogotá with only their clothes and little money, so the old man tried to find a job by walking all nights trough town to see how to win some cash for food and he got a misterius offer to deliver a letter to a horrible part of town so he described all the beautiful lights, buildings, roads he saw, and the colorful trash, drug addicts, thieves in extreme detail, and when he arrives he has to go through a derelict hotel where children were pimped out by thugs and on the last room he delivers the letter to a very formal man and is offered some food.
He wakes up due to the heat of the sun and as he was on top of a pile of trash on the street. He realizes he can't see and understands that they drugged him so they could sell or eat his eyes.

It was a really good and powerful story. Kinda made me puke and cry.
