I don’t know. I’m still pretty lost. I will say though that Michelstaedter’s Persuasion and Rhetoric gave me a clue and I don’t mean that in a cryptic or sarcastic way. I find others don’t have the same takeaway from this book though. I don’t know if I just have a unique reading or they miss the point. Nonetheless, it’s given me at least some sense of a direction even if only a little bit.

Many have a hard time in life and there are really good books that can help you if you allow it and also take steps to promote a happier life. When reading these particular books, you then compare what goals you want to achieve in life. Maybe you just want to feel free. Free of all that shit that wants to be turned on around the clock. And finally having a reasonably good time with myself, doing yourself a treat and treating yourself well. You don't need to have read a lot of books, just the right ones, with a certain life experience and serious approach. Surely many have been stuck here for years and all these books have not brought much. All these people, like everyone else, have a certain need for validity. Therefore, they cannot let go and be happy, but want to persist in their opinion and show off their knowledge. But that's not the goal. Just chill, take your time, have fun.

All these people are not all crazy. Most just want to be accepted and perhaps free from painful thoughts...
