Pynchon didn’t know everything about Mason & Dixon when he started writing the book. DFW didn’t know about tax law and IRS agents when he started writing the Pale King. Ultimately I am a little familiar with Kate Bush but not totally, and I like the aesthetic and age which she evokes, and I want to explore the possibility.

There was actually a /lit/ anon who made a song (maybe a few songs) on YouTube, they may have been adaptions of the songs Pynchon included or they may have been his own interpretation of the plot but I remember really enjoying it. He even did an animation for it too.
