Because there's nothing in society for them, modernity has wrecked pretty much everything that made men fight, work hard and struggle in the first place. Why even get up in the morning desu?

What does growing up mean?

If it means getting a job, buying a house and starting a family then >>15060887 is right.

The job market is shit. Employers treat you like immediately replaceable garbage in general. House prices are unaffordable unless you become a slave to your job, even then it's a struggle to pay a mortgage unless you're renting out half the house. As for starting a family, we all know the divorce rate. Unless you meet someone amazing, good luck with the family bit. I've worked with so many Construction guys who busted their bodies to provide and end up divorced because they spend all their time at work and resting up for it. It's not a life.

The good news is that it won't be like this forever. The economy disaster once this relief fund is over will almost certainly be a catalyst for social change. Things will be probably be better if we all make it through that.

There is more community in Bing Bing Wahoo than in the great society of organic solidarity
There is more satisfying work in Bing Bing Wahoo than in most occupations
There is surrogate competition and prestige in Bing Bing Wahoo
The only thing you can't get in Bing Bing Wahoo is a family
Well, grow up and get a family. Then, flip a coin—heads, you live a potentially happy life; tails, you get divorced and gain your own personal fury that gives testament to the idea that 'heaven hath no rage like love to hatred turned'.
Better to just keep your Bing Bing Wahoo
