Also, that book is like an anchor of synchronicities for me. today i was thinking of going on vacation to china (obviously sometime in the future after this virus shit cools off). then i open up the book and the main character starts planning a vacation to china. like a week or two ago i was reading the master and his emissary and he starts going off about heraclitus. i open up VALIS where i left off and he starts quoting heraclitus verbatim. there’s been more i can’t recall. this book freaks me out a bit
