I mean, it's an idyllic future, where humans live in harmony with nature. There wouldn't be any manufactured scarcity or shit like that. It'd be an optimized social democracy. Everyone is provided with the 2 lower tiers of Maslow's pyramid by the government (except reproduction, obvie), currency is standardized, so I don't know, the euro? Everyone is bilingual at least speaking their regional language and a universal language. Crime is you know, human shit that doesn't change no matter how good a life is. The government is run by people with experiences in the field, (ie, the minister of education would be a distinguished teacher). Weeds legal 420. I guess there'd still be religious wars, but they'd be fought between small factions. Strict gun laws, of course, but there'd have to be a solution for the animals- probably netting, like shark nets, but in the trees, and bolted into the ground. A big problem would be solarpunk version of South American guerrillas. Since it's so hard to monitor forests that's where the crime would go. There's a lot less, because it's hard to muster the energy for crime if your content, but there's still greedy and violent people, that's just human. So you get tree-gangs. You get some weird cults too. People that aren't happy with the excessive government restrictions that would be necessary to sustain a utopia.

Even if there are cyberpunk technology in the future, the social relationship between humans post Capitalism will be mostly different than today. So no Avatar, Deus Ex, Ghost in the shell, blade runner etc...Motoko Kusanagi and Harison Ford in blade runner are cops. No more private property of the means of production, no more cops. Or no more cops like the one that exist today anyway, who defend mostly a public order based around political economy. In Avatar, they do space exploiration for profit (it's said explicitly in the film), so again, not possible post Capitalism.
Tl;dr, even if there is technology in the future, the social relationship will be different, thus not the cyber punk we are used to.

Except, if you make enough solar panels, you can just recycle the material and produce them using solar energy. The transition phase is bad but at least it has an end.

You don't even need solar panels. Water is solar panels, do you know how much fucking energy is generated in the rain cycle? Simply organize humanity to effectively capture store and utilize the energy naturally provided by the earths rhythms as the oceans heat up humidity rises and rain falls on mountain passes.

Hydro is solar. All energy on earth comes from the sun, even the energy in the core is held together in orbit by gravity from the sun.

You can run a generator off a pipe full of water that moves a float based on temperature pressure as the sun rises and sets or if its too cold just use geothermal.


The problem is massive amounts of energy is funneled to favored corporations by a corrupt government where they get paid to light money on fire and generate trash to sell to you and fuck up this beautiful free energy machine.
