Yes you do. If it's a trait, you should be able to find the genes responsible for it at birth or locate them during development if they're recessive. But you can't find any of that. You acknowledge that newborns don't have a sexuality, which means it's not entirely genetic and that it can be shaped by the surrounding world. And the fact that you can't find any genes at all that determine it should make you hesitant to make such decisive conclusions. Skin color is not a choice, sex is not a choice, down syndrome is not a choice, being hairy is not a choice. Being gay is.

Saturday's always used to be so boring for me, because that's the time that all my friends, without a single exception, would all leave to go visit their dad's for the weekend.
