Henry David Thoreau, Samuel Butler, Elizabeth Gaskell, Gustav Landauer, Simone Weil, Bernand Charbonneau, Thomas Hardy, Jacques Ellul, Leo Tolstoy, Neil Postman, Knut Hamsun, William Morris and Masanobu Fukuoka, probably. Maybe Theodore Kaczynski and Pentti Linkola too.

Snufkin would gladly listen to you tell him about these authors, and he’d probably like a lot of what they’d have to say, but he doesn’t even read music. He just plays it.

How is it hyjacking when it speeks to the core of a lot of their traditionalist bent? Im not a pagan, but the adaption of such imagery seems natural for that subset of people.

Nationalism/statism protects the elites. Tribalist traditionalism is decentralized, regional.
Fascism is liberalism on steroids, and supports capitalism. Traditional economics leans more towards shared economics
It has loads more in common with libertarian-socalism, IE anarchism.

>>14979715
IDK, given the amount of effort more autoritarian places like China or N. Korea place on ethnic identity programs. I feel like you might be a bit absolutist when it comes to aplying innately abstract concepts like "culture" and "religion" to particular socio-political bents. They can be applied in various ways by various conceptions.
I personally find myself more closely drawn to christianity and monadism, so I dont have a particular stick in the fight, and im not particularly against absolutism or anarchism either.

Nah, that was just the mental gymnastics the USSR did to justify their war on smaller states. There are only two large seats of power, the government and the international market, fascism and the like wants a strong government that fights for regional interests, while liberalism is all about weak states serving the market.
