A true gnostic is in love with knowledge. I'd recommend obviously Nag-Hammadi Library, Agrippa's Occult Philosophy and the most important is the Bible. Primarily the new testament and the hidden meanings of the words.

You fundamentally misunderstand Gnosticism. There is only one God, the Monad. The "God" you call evil is the Demiurge, and he's a lesser entity who created the material world (which btw is a place that is not "evil" in any normie moral way but rather it's far removed from God, and anything that is far away from the source is evil in this sense). What you call "reality" is just the material world. Diving heavily into it is pretty much meaningless. The knowledge that Gnostic seek is the kind that allows you to save your soul and reach Heaven.
