Suffering is bad, unless you suffer in order to gain something that was worth the troubles.

Come on. You are a fucking thermostat
Your 'suffering' is the room being too hot or too cold
And then you break

there are differnt knds of suffering which dont cause the same level of distress for example:
getting chopped up by the cartels vs. having to pee while toilet is occupied.
when suffering is bad, do you believe suffering should be abolished? if so then you are denying life and should show the strength to kill yourself.
please read a book before posting nigga.
google negative utilitarism and study some faggotmega sage

All of you have the same argument. "Some suffering is ok, some suffering is bad".
That means suffering is bad. If suffering was not bad, no suffering would be bad.
If any kind of bad suffering exists, suffering is bad.

Hoping it just doesn't happen to you is a cope.

I agree that suffering is bad. But it's also necessary sometimes.

That's not how logic works, kid. Too much water is bad, but water itself is not bad.

Suffering builds character and endurance. Modern humans got too comfy, too soft, too sensitive. We slept in luxurious beds. We took hot showers. We treated illness with painkillers and drugs, rather than letting our body tackle it on its own. As advances in rights, social care and technology made suffering an increasingly minor concern for humans all across the world, we became increasingly detached from our autonomic system that is supposed to regulate our ability to tolerate inflammation and psychological stress. Our body and mind, taken together, is a natural wonder that we, in our modern indulgences, have deprived of the hardness that was supposed to make and shape us. This is why suffering has value.

You're right forever and that in itself will be suffering to you because you don't really want to be the harbinger of eternal truth because of aspects of your personality you abhor - you brought this upon yourself

No. What I was saying was this. Living is good. Being is good. Experience is good. You are a fucking pussy, and a little baby because YOU cannot cope.
Are you starving in some shithole? Are you being tortured by Assad's boys, or the CIA? No. You are just a pussy. A sad fucking little baby who cannot cope, like some lardsack crying that he can't get laid, because exercise is 'suffering'
Now go fucking kys you little cunts

if you never suffer, the lack of suffering will become suffering. suffering is inevitable, one must learn to be a master it. to let the suffering mold you into a better person, to be a functional sufferer and to make your suffering the source of great invention or innovation. those are virtues and exercises of spiritual artistry that the overman has realized.

Here's my take.
Suffering is a nominalisation of the verb suffer. To 'suffer' is to experience bad-ness. Therefore, suffering is literally bad for you. This is analytical, not synthetic.
However, bad to me is a mere representation, whereas bad as a concept is rooted a priori. Therefore, bad for me isn't bad necessarily.
The key difference is, what feels bad (suffering) is only bad for you, whereas what feels bad for everyone is bad itself.
For example, the suffering of Hitler is bad for Hitler but isn't bad completely unless this suffering caused more discomfort than goodness in the world in general.
