I heard Glaurung's in it. Are his interventions as good as Smaug in the Hobbit?

Unironically Harry Potter. Very comfy. Not good, but you're not looking for good.

The d&d monster manual is unironically a fun read. It's enjoyable in a pulpy way, a few of the monster are pretty stupid though desu.

I wouldn't read anything Card wrote. He's a bigoted, homophobic phony. I burned Ender's Game, and every other book I owned that was written by him.

I read Ender's Game. It felt like smartly written fanfiction, but the sequel felt like a fanfiction sequel. I read through it, but I'll never read another of his books.
His homophobia rarely entered my mind when I was reading them. It's a shame you don't dislike him for better reasons.

Allow me to rephrase: It's a shame you didn't burn his books for better reasons.

Is it worth it past the first book? I found the YA tropes in it to be too off-putting for me,
