It makes sense that American dominion would constitute only a fraction of the reign of Rome, Greece, Spain, or Persia. Everything is fast now. Granted, I don't suppose it will end so much as be subsumed by an even greater superstructure of power.

Don't really give a fuck if you don't believe me. My mom has spent her entire career in military defense contracting working on telemetry systems for the ~nuclear arsenal~ of the United States.
The DOD just stockpiles arms indiscriminately. At any given point we have about 2,600 more nukes than whichever nation's arsenal comes second, and roughly 90% of all of it is unmaintained. This isn't a secret BTW literally just fucking google it.

Interesting that the content and thrust of your post betrays its first sentence. Clearly you haven't been trained in whatever intelligence apparatuses your mother or her other lovers may have been exposed to. You are not in a position of knowledge to speak about these things ("whichever"?, he said, as if it were ever anything other than the Russians.) I am. You've also stupidly parsed "unmaintained" from "doesn't work", another canard to pretend legitimacy because your mommy wasn't in her proper role, or something.

Most of the the American nuclear arsenal is in available working order, despite its dated condition. That is the central point, which controls over your mother. I'll append this exchange in the year-end celebration.

Depends on the direct competitors.
China is the main pretender and their growth has decelerated, their internal disputes accentuated, while USA is not living any particular crisis, it's just in slow steady fall and is totally in control of the world's information, which is the more valuable resource of today. Could take from 30 to 130 years, depending on any particular event that happens in the meantime and we'd be unable to predict.

>> No.14830385

After the Anglo-Zionist Empire is over there will no longer be a world power, it will become multipolar, since Russia and China don't have bases installed in every country, they don't have a network of control. All countries will be able to defend their hegemony if they have atomic arsenal.

The trend across history is the move from tribes to feudal kingdoms to empires to imperial powers. Power is never diminished, it only changes shape. With each era, power becomes more collaterized and interconnected, yet simultaneously more inconceivable. This is a core tenant of the shift from the more traditional dynamics of domination into hegemony not unlike of business mergers and acquisitions, which will likely be the end of the United States should it merge with another superpower.

>> No.14830485

>How much longer do you see the American hegemony lasting?
A long time. We've reached an era where the powers that be are so overpowered. Any societal collapse caused by economy will be endured. Anything riot-induced will be minor, and the chaotic power vacuum it creates will quickly be suppressed, plastered in with military, thanks to today's advanced communications & response technology and armed forces. Something biological is already happening, but it's nothing: Three thousand dead worldwide. Three thousand. You know how many, alone, die to cigarettes in the USA per year?
The only thing keeping this from continuing is nuclear war, and I don't see that happening anytime soon. Noone with radioactive toys is getting crazy. Fat cats all agree on getting fatter.

Americans will maintain power through cultural influence and corporate rule. No other country in the world has ever had the reach of ours, and if we as a species live another thousand years, you will no doubt be able to trace multiple threads of whatever that future society looks like directly back to this country.

That being said, I don't know how much longer the United States, or any country for that matter, will be around as a single entity. Governments prioritize their economies over the coherency of their national identities now because it's the more profitable of the two--in fact, most countries' pride in their nation comes not from war/history/culture, but what the people in that country produce together. A country's products give its people more identity now than the country itself.

Give it a century and, barring any slip-ups, most of the executive decisions around the world will be made out in the open by a select group of businessmen and government consultants.

There is a point after which it becomes impossible to close the technological gap, once that has been established (and even downing tools, can be maintained with little effort more than simple astroturfing the opponents' capabilities). -- This is to say: never. Unless private actors and networks formed breakaway societies within breakaway civilizational faction(s). Do you really believe Space X world war two vintage rockets are being used for anything but black project budget sinks? The F-35 is almost certainly a hand-me-down of off-the-shelf tech, the remainder of the 'squandered' budget going into wilder Skunkworky things. Not who you were responding to, but I think, especially with the U.S./Germany example, it's really just the fact that Germany's been kept on a leash for the past sixty-odd years militarily. lol. What we've seen speaks for itself. The world economy has apparently been taken over, or "conquered" if you will, by China. It's difficult to tell from this vantage point whether they will consume the captive west, or merely enslave them. One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them. The Chinese will soon be here. Completely disagree. The Chinese are ultimately only concerned with the re-establishment of their former glory from ~1000 years ago. As a culture, their people are far too used to ease and complacency because of the absolute power over trade they held until Europeans broke down their doors and economically raped them from 1700 on.

I don't think the U.S. is an out-and-out financial juggernaut, but with the backing of Israel, a shared cultural/historical tradition with most of Europe, and a military that could bulldoze the Asian continent if it wanted to, the United States has a potential powerblocks with most of the world. The Chinese may be financially successful, as they always have been, but they are also mostly alone, as they always have been.

Whatever military presence is on German soil surely isn’t enough to keep Germany on a leash so short that it’s forced to cuck to the US and it’s interests. As best I can tell, Europe is cucked to the same interests that America is, namely is international finance and corporations. Europeans wanted to be cool like Americans and have things and be bleeding hearts after world war 2 along with the rest of the world it seems. I can see the argument for places like the Middle East which obviously have different interests but go to Saudi Arabia and you’ll see they sit under the same satellite dishes that Americans do and they want them to be there. I just think the whole American stranglehold on the rest of the world thing is such nonsense. The rest of the world Americanized themselves and they want to blame America because international finance and their military industrial complex just happens to headquarter there. The US is a convenient scapegoat to blame for an internal turn towards materialism and an economic view of life in my opinion. Not arguing with you or anything, I just don’t see it.

I actually agree with you, for the most part. I think people nowadays don't realize how our world is being shaped and where we're all headed--again, this is barring any catastrophe or apocalypse that either wipes us out or blasts us back 500 years.

Quite frankly, if the European countries didn't want U.S. influence within their borders, they should've kicked us out ages ago, and they could have if any of them grew a spine and a military and could defend their own borders. But instead, most of the continent fell under Soviet control for almost half a century, and who ultimately kicked them out and brokered treaties and agreements with them? Oh. Right, it was the U.S..

Not that the United States has any right more than any other country to go around and enforce our own policies, whether openly or under the veil of peacekeeping operations and alliances, but if the Euros are so pissy about us being around, they should've kicked us to the curb when they had the chance. Instead they became dependent, and now they're pissed because they're caught in the middle of an economic war between Chinese and American interests.

I don't hate Euros, I love their architecture and art and literature, and they've got good food, and most of them are pretty cool. But I'm really, really sick of seeing all this shit online about the U.S. as if we just forced ourselves on them singlehandedly. I'm not saying that we defended them purely out of the goodness of our hearts--not at all, and there are plenty of ulterior motives for the U.S. being all around Europe in finance, arms, politics, and so on. But to act like they never waved the white flag and asked us to help in the first place is ridiculous.

>America will be the final global super power because no one else wants to disrupt the system or don't understand how to.
Americans are doing that just fine on their own tbhqh. I give it no more than ten more election cycles before the Judicial Branch of government is entirely subservient to political and financial interests. Plus the urban-rural divide and race tensions pretty much guarantee that once one domino falls the rest will.

True the USA is a strong country with a powerful economy and military, but of all the countries I've been to it's the only one where armed militias rioting in the street is considered normal and tactility supported by the various powers that be.

There's a real lack of cohesion in that country, with various classes, ethnic groups, and special interests all scrapping for a piece of the pie, but no guarantee that if you stub your toe and get an infection you wont be simply left to die in a box on the street corner by the rest of society.

The problem with the USA isn't that it fails to project strength, but that the foundation that strength rests on is only getting weaker every day, and even without tangible crisis seems rotten and on the verge of collapse.

If, for example, the electrical grid in the USA was taken down for three months, can you guarantee that there wont be riots, lootings, and murders within the first couple weeks? Or that that wont cause racially motivated retaliation by the various LARPing retards there. If history is any indication, and if Russia or China are even slightly competent, it wont take long for them to start funneling weapons and propaganda to various gangs, ethnic groups, political parties, etc. etc. which will only worsen everything.

I think America will keep going steady and be seemingly unstoppable for years to come, then one day it wont, and nobody will be able to understand how everything fell apart seemingly overnight.

It's difficult to picture who might replace it. China is barely able to run itself, pressured internally as it is by its massive population and the problems that entails. It also has no experience in all its history ruling outside its borders. India? Give me a break. I am reminded of Hegel's views that the orient is fundamentally ahistorical, "a phenomenon antique as well as modern; one which has remained stationary and fixed." Asia lacks a certain world-consciousness that makes it suitable for mastery over the peoples of the earth. Or as Marx said, "where there is no change, there is no history." To the extent that these cultures change it is in reaction to Westernization, otherwise their fundamentally static inertial character sets in.

The real hegemony, I speculate, will be from increasing concentrations of capital, the formation of autonomous statelets such as the Dutch East India Company, and technological overlordship in the form of AI singletons and surveillance regimes. Cryptocurrency will give rise to a post-national world, as currencies are to nations what blood is to the body, and without absolute control over its regulation, there is no longer any reason to defer to nations as anything other than territorial hoarders.

Ah yes, anon, who that has never picked up a book on the history of any asian country, is of the opinion that the whole continent is devoid of “historical consciousness”, even though he probably couldn’t point to Bhutan or Malaysia in a map. He is most definitely capable of psychologizing a whole continent and its history based on the opinion of 18th century western writers who never even set foot in the continent.

That’s not really what I meant to be honest with you. I more or less meant that while America is the foremost manifestation of cultural corruption, Europeans seem to want to blame America for their subsequent Americanism but thr reality of the matter is that America is just manifestation of a. internal americanism, not the other way around. Likewise, Europeans’ americanism is a result of their near equal obsession of liberal ideas and materialism. I should also add that America is a product of Europe not just in a geographic sense, but an ideological sense. The idea that Europe would be able to throw off the chains of cultural subversion and reverse the decline if America would just withdraw and nothing else, seems to me pure fantasy.
