I thought you guys might be interested in Hemingway here. I know he had a very simple and masculine style of writing, but even more interesting is his life.

He had like 4 wives (at one time, two in the same house), and almost everyone - including himself - in his family committed suicide.

In fact, one of his sons became a woman after being released from jail (Ernest also dressed as a girl as a child) and that prompted one wife to kill herself. After Hemingway died, 'Gloria' was now excluded from his will because she went through with a same-sex partnership with her wife (from when she was a he) and couldn't legally get a house in that state.

Hemingway was an avid hunter and fisher. He fought in both world wars, winning a bronze star in courage - as a reporter.

Do you guys know any other authors who had interesting lives?

I don't think any authors lead interesting lives.

All their writing is influenced by just being boring normal everyday people.

Ted Hughes had two wives commit suicide, both in the same manner. His second wife dressed in the clothes of his first wife. The second wife killed the couple's 4 year old daughter as well.

At one point, both the first wife and the second wife lived in the same house at the same time with Hughes.

His son by the first wife committed suicide within the last year.

Hughes received the first wife's suicide letter in the mail, rushed to her house to find her, and found her still alive. He left to go have sex with a third woman (who was neither the first wife or the second wife). The first wife committed suicide immediately after he left.

i was thinking of making a topic about it but then OP already had a hemingway topic with this kind of stuff. I learned it in my World Civ 2 Honors class yesterday or today I can't remember.

I think his last wife (4th or 5th? if he had 5) was a high school girl from Paris he brought the Keys

He had impotence with his 1st or 2nd wife, prayed (she was catholic) and had wild sex for days.

He slept with many many women, even when he was married (like he had a mistress in the house with one life).

Killed animals everywhere

You now realize that Honors courses are simply normal level classes and that the so called normal classes are for the retards. Ask your teacher what the difference is, they'll simply say that Honors just works through (basically) the same material faster. AP is for responsible, hard working, intelligent youths.

If they work through the same material faster than we wouldn't have to go to school all year.
