I would like to be a well rounded person and have knowledge of many different things. What are some good books that cover the fundamentals of specific a topic or skill?

Study science. No /lit/ person will say this but if you seek knowledge then read a bio 101, chem 101 or phys 101 book. /lit/ is for people who desire understanding after the fact.

I already do. Still, calculating pH hasn't been very useful irl. Would like to pick up skills and general knowledge.

Hence why I am Nick Fuentes.

Try to find what good universities have their students read for every 101 course, in all the subjects that interest you (economics, chemistry, political science, art history, whatever you want).

I am Belgian, so I don't know how it works in your country, but I basically google the list of classes available, then I can click on individual courses and there is a page describing the course and giving a list of "recommended readings".
