Is there any literature that can explain why billionaires and jews are increasingly favoring socialised policies? I don't think Marx could have possibly explained it.

more control over the populace. they will be the ones in control, and thus they will have more power.

this, plus they want to quell potential revolutionary impulses (more control).

but it's also because they are vain, and they want to be seen as saints and heroes or the environment and society. when one get's bored of making money, one looks to politics. they know they will still have millions and millions of dollars in the "socialist" world they help create.

A slightly higher tax is well worth thier continued monopoly on global power/influence.

They’ll all support stuff like gay marriage and other things that don’t affect thier bottom line because those methods of dividing and atomising the Working Class are becoming less and less effective (and in fact now the opposite is true, Ruling class backing oppressed groups like LGBT is creating a divide and turning sections of working class away from others)

They will never back actual socialism. Any attempt to challenge private property will be met with extreme prejudice. In fact any changes to give ANY privileges/power to Trade Unions will probably get stopped in its tracks. Changes to Healthcare/Education systems most capitalists can bare, unless you make your billions off of medical bills or student debt, they won’t really notice.

>> No.14733796

>>14733751
they are neoliberals. they still are capitalists, but they also believe in their own brand of ‘social services’. also, getting rid of private property wouldn’t necessarily be the best way to approach the solution of poverty. obviously, the state needs to find a solution for this and corporations shouldn’t be ruling as they are now but I don’t believe removing private property is where that starts.

None of these 'socialist' billionaires will ever talk about actual tenets of socialism, like workplace democracy, profit sharing, or nationalised means of production. It's only the American caricature of socialism, a massive welfare state where the entire economy is still privately owned but they hand out bread and circuses to keep the proles happy.

And this increase in welfare spending means a larger and more powerful government, which is of course controlled by the billionaire class. So 'socialism' espoused by bourgeoisie politicians is really just about increasing their power by twisting people's anger about economic conditions.

but i haven't actually read it, that was just jokes.
what isn't jokes is that they're making a one world state you dummies. the way you do that is aggregate everything into one centralized authority through technology and destroying every other source, like nation states for instance. it's called communism but the name doesn't matter. it's all about incremental movements towards putting the masses in a place where they will be sick and unable to change things. that's the end of history that will probably happen unless God or something does something
also don't go vegan ffs

it's more than money, they have enough money.

The young fucks need to wisen up and work on their PR game. Older fucks like Buffett and Gates have spent billions to advertise their "nice guy" image. In the event of the return of the guillotine Gates and Buffett will be spared by the hordes of dipshits who bought their propaganda. Even if these younger Zuckerberg and Bezos types actually push on issues to try to lessen the inequality pressure to keep things running smoothly, they won't be safe from the guillotine.

Marx unironically did, although not explicitly.
These billionaires are starting to realize how automation is threatening the capitalist mode of production, if you replace the working class with machines there will be no wages left, thus no consumers for the products your machines will produce.
That's why you see UBI being pushed by the elite, meme "leftist" candidates like Andrew Yang will be the new norm hijacking left-wing revolutionary politics in this century, it's basically their way of turning us into cattle whose only purpose is to give them back those UBI bux in consumption, which will make sure their hold on capital is preserved even without wage labor.

>Socialism is the fantastic younger brother of almost decrepit despotism, which it wants to succeed; its efforts are, therefore, in the deepest sense reactionary. For it desires such an amount of State power as only despotism has possessed, indeed, it outdoes all the past, in that it aims at the complete annihilation of the individual, whom it deems an unauthorised luxury of nature, which is to be improved by it into an appropriate organ of the general community. Owing to its relationship, it always appears in proximity to excessive developments of power, like the old typical socialist, Plato, at the court of the Sicilian tyrant; it desires (and under certain circumstances furthers) the Caesarian despotism of this century, because, as has been said, it would like to become its heir

The working class, at least in my country, get free schools, free healthcare, free welfare etc. which is paid off by those that earn well above median income, so it's not like they're starving or anything.
