i've got a few of those in hawaii, one of them for free at Jelly's (now closed) because it had mold. start with the greeks, then Caesar and Christ.

doubt it, durant was an early 20th century historian. not old west. then again i didn't have the patience to watch that show more than episode or two. all i remember is the priest character was the same guy as the pedo who kidnapped samantha mulder in the walk-in / paper hearts episodes.

Great deal, individual volumes of the Durants are pretty common but this is the first time I've seen a complete set on sale for less than $100. Looks like it's in good shape too, I'm jealous.

I recently got a complete set of first-edition hardcovers of Book of the New Sun from ebay for about $50. It was an impulse buy and I kind of regret spending that much money of cheaply-printed books, but all the other listings I've seen since have been for at least double that price.
