What's some good literature to read when you're an alcoholic? Not self-help or anything like that, just literature that is enhanced by the effects of alcohol.

>literature that is enhanced by the effects of alcohol
Do people really read when they're drunk? Won't you just forget everything the next day?

OP asked for good literature for alcoholics, who generally cannot control their intake.
Also, it's not about being unable to remember what happened the previous, but being unable to process complex information to the point of retention.

oh, thats not the case at all. I "lose time" or blackout or whatever. There is a whole 'nother version of me, drunk me, that has his own life and adventures. He's apparently funny and outgoing, and generally better liked than I am.

So I guess I'm recommending fight club. Not a good book per se, but on topic.

it's a genuine problem for that i can't concentrate on reading when i get drunk, but i keep veering into drinking every day
books that i read when drunk are extremely trashy shallow ones that i don't care about or comics
books ABOUT being an alcoholic, my favourites are the drinker by fallada and disturbing the peace by richard yates

you're just a retard. don't blame the booze. you see, the blood was always meant to have a certain level of alcohol in it. the kidneys were actually never meant to exist, but weak soibois with little babby livers couldn't handle the natural alcohol produced in the blood, so they evolved to have cuckidneys. now, we're all living in cucked bodies with kidneys because of some faggot in the family tree, but if we're not faggots ourselves, the optimal thing is to have a certain amount of alcohol in the blood at all times. this is how you operate at peak performance. haven't you ever wondered why you feel like shit when you're not drunk?

Alcohol hits alcoholics differently
When I was at my peak of drinking I could kill a six pack and immediately feel fine driving
Now that I don't drink much I'll have to wait a half hour to drive after only like 3 beers

A classic as old as time
Speaking of which, it would be interesting to get some hard stats on the % of Rick and Morty fans that project being an alcoholic cause rick is sooo cool vs. % of Rick and Morty fans that are actual alcoholics. When I die I want all the answers to unknowable questions, even ones as bad as this.
