>pull out some Glen Cook to read before class starts
>girls sitting next to me immediately wet themselves
>Brad flashes me a knowing grin, then gives me a friendly, two fingered salute
>class manlet who brought Sanderson storms out
I just read his works at home now, not worth the attention

Any biography on the perpetrators of infamous, widely-known atrocities. Poetry, as a genre, is best read in the privacy of your home, as you risk ostracism by consuming it in public view.

I know what you mean. It's nearly impossible to read Glenn Cook in public without girls trying to rip my pants off.

Everyone will think youre a cat woman or lonely-ass, effeminate man if they catch you reading poetry in public.

Certain books are okay, like Arthur Rimbaud collections, but I wouldn’t reccomend reading anything like Sylvia Plath out in the open.

This Russian author somehow sounds way more eloquent than I could ever hope to be as an EOP. Although the odd bits of French did feel a bit pretentious.

I got called a saddo by a very drunk friend of a friend when they came back to my apartment and saw me re-reading The Book of Disquiet.
