The only way you will make money on a children's book is if you make it about interracial relationships. They don't have to be sexual though I'm sure they could and that would skate by just fine, they just have to be happy with a dose of "white girl realizes ____" and everyone is happy and together. Then, at the end of the book, there is a beautiful 2 page illustration of a bunch of kids of different colors and creeds jamming out on different instruments together. And? What skill is there in making a book for children? So many female """authors""" like this exist because they want to make something creative but they aren't actually creative. These books are mostly just crop and paste clipart with about 100 words in the whole thing. Some children's books become memorable classics, like the hungry caterpillar, I couldn't tell you why since they're all just retellings of basic morals in the most obvious way possible. I'm not saying children's books aren't useful, they just don't take that much skill to make.

Besides, "your" wife isn't the only one with artistic endeavours she's following, I made an album September last year, and I think I've made $9 in sales (minus whatever bandcamp takes out). I don't do it for fame or money, I do it because without a creative outlet I'd go insane. I don't make music for other people, I make it for myself, and if other people like it, good for them.

Ewhores have no internal satisfaction. Once the money is gone, they are empty again, and trust me, the money goes by the time they're 30 and the next batch of younger and hotter girls come in.
