Somehow it seems like a discount Evola who tells me how things where. It is a lot of: "dude it was totally like this, trust me."
I had an argument about it with an anon in another thread some while ago about this. My poínt was that he makes some broad strokes about how things where and sometimes these aren't very much based on historic reality.
And if that isn't accurate then the book doesn't offer much for me. I guess the /sig/ parts are useful when you want to sculpt yourself after the image of the old heroes but if thats the message then I would have wanted the focus to be more on that.

So what is it? A critique on society yes but it is based on myth and legend he himself doesn't take serious?

I haven't finished the book so I'm not sure if there is some bigger reveal and shift in tone and purpose of the book then I really don't feel it. First half has been a complete waste of time for me.
