what we smoking and reading lads? Reading bronze age mindset, trying to get this stupid thing to sync the corpus hermeticum. Highly rec spirit blues, nice and strong, but a bit too smooth on the inhale so i sometimes cut the filter for a more harsh feel.

Coffee does not have the same mechanism of action, meaning nicotine is always going to reap benefits above and beyond that of caffeine. Even better, it is additive when combined with coffee so smoking and drinking coffee is going to be better than doing either separately. If you can't handle intelligence sticks, you might want to go back to your reddit.

>how are you enjoying it so far?
I'm actually liking it quite a lot, but it's not a book I'd recommend to anyone. I chose to read it following the alternative chapter sequence, and have come to appreciate it for how stimulating and pleasurable it is if you read it playfully. Some bits seem purposefully abstruse but in a way that seems to work, and I actually quite enjoy them. It reminds me a bit of jazz music for how it's serious and silly at the same time. When I first read about it I thought it was going to be like If on a winter's night a traveller, but it's really so much better.

>>smoke kills,
It doesn't. You just believed outdated statistical pseudoscience.
>stinks
Women consistently rank it pleasing, which is why perfumers like Tom Ford use tobacco in a number of their scents.
>and stains teeth
This is drastically overstated.
There are MARGINAL leaps between
Tea drinking (the worst) >>>>> coffee >>>>>> tobacco. The latter two are entirely superficial stains, meaning they are reversible and come out with a good cleaning. Whereas the fluorinated compounds black tea, form covalent bonds with enamel and even seep into the bone matrix underlying it.

>> No.14529822

>>14529801
then why all the negative publicity against it - especially considering how big the tobacco industry and lobby is?
also, as a smoker, cigarette stains on teeth may be removed with a deep clean, but they are much uglier and more noticeable than those left by coffee or whatever

Heavy government funding into anti-smoking science to deflect from the real agent in the rise of cancer rates, the nearly thousand + above ground nuclear tests. That's what helped get it going but it sustained itself because the hypothesis seemed commonsensical (SMOKE BAD), so many researchers held findings to be true without much hard scrutiny.
