What he says in that video, although it doesn't mean much, is really all fine by me. He is saying that he doesn't need permission to be experimental in his work, which is based, in theory,
but in practice that he felt the need to post a video like this is kindof a letdown. Like if you say you're confident in your experiment l, than why are you defending yourself.

yeah the content of the video isnt particularly wrong, he just has this air of lacking self awareness about him. the way he talks and the ideas he has seem like the poorly thought out ruminations of a bi polar teenager.

JMurph is having a belated rebellious phase but is unable to be truly rebellious, kinda like a kid who thinks not putting paper in the recycling is totally gangsta. He is totally aware of this so he adds another layer where he plays to his rebellion's lack of rebelliousness ironically. He then crafts tweets to bait easily triggered members of the SSRI-Left on twitter so he can point to the backlash if he is called out on being lame like "look how many people I piss off I must be dangerous".
