Spring Snow gets pretty gay, even though the main relationship is hetero. Probably because mishima was a literal faggot who couldn't get dicks off the brain.

based.

>He is the strongest of wild creatures, the stuff of Anu; born in the grass-lands and the wild hills reared him; when you see him you will be glad; you will love him as a woman and he will never forsake you.

>That axe, which you saw, which drew you so powerfully like love of a woman, that is the comrade whom I give you, and he will come in his strength like one of the host of heaven.

I loved the movie, and when I saw that the author was a Proust scholar I got the audiobook (ew, audio) because one of the actors narrates it. Was disappointed at the lack of scenery description. Also, it was kinda gay. Good movie/book though. I feel like they enhance each other.

It's lovely first person historiography with a middle part about the love of his life. It's also mysterious because you wonder if he's just being self serving. I loved it.
