How do I deal with the intense feelings of meaninglessness I experience everyday? All people seem to care about is materialism, sex, money and looks. I've been trying to play this game for as long as I can remember but it's a game you can't win. Why are people so animalistic? I just want companionship and a sense of purpose in life but knowing that people only care about outside factors makes me not even want to try anymore. What's the point of building relationships with people when it is in their instinct to betray and lie to you? I feel like I can't trust anyone and I don't have anyone in my life. I can't even rely on my own parents for these things and I feel so fucking lonely. You guys are well read, what keeps you going everyday?

Stop being like the mlecchas and seek self-knowledge. Then actualize purpose.

Stop being an individual and see yourself as part of a whole entity larger than just yourself. Try to influence that entity and keep it at a size that is large enough to have some chaos and spontaneity but small enough it is not overly taxing. Maybe the max you can handle is yourself, your spouse, and your children. That's still existing on a larger scale than the individual. You are not responsible for the actions of others, but you do influence their actions through your behavior. Also, try to get out a 1:1 temporal mindset. Your teenage kid who hates your guts could end up retroactively singing your praises in their 30s. Living a 1:1 temporal emotional life is asking for needless stress.
