This book, unironically. When the MC says bye to his girlfriend for the last time and kisses her I cried. I was in middle school and had just broken up with my girlfriend, so I was emotionally fucked up and depressed. Yes I realize I'm a massive fag for crying at a Star Wars book.

So based. A childrens book where the frail poetic obviously gay protag has to literally kill himself to get back to his home planet. And kill himself by getting bit by a snake, a snake who has been grooming him for this throughout the story.

An airman called Antoine crashes in the desert and while he's repairing his engine her summons an imaginary companion to stop going crazy. He could have anything he wants, a beautiful wench, a saucy whore, but no, he imagines a pubescent boy who's completely innocent because he lived alone on an asteroid, growing flowers and obsessively cleaning his mini volcanoes. The boy is described as a prince in flowing robes, and the story lingers on description of how red his lips are and his blonde hair.

I genuinely feel bad for someone so degenerated by the coom that even The Little Prince (the quintessence of goodness and innocence) begins to show erotic undertones

>> No.14417152

>>14417122
Every character in the book is male, the only female character is a sentient rose on the princes asteroid. She is described as neurotic and pathetic, constantly shit-testing the prince who explains how he has learnt patience by listening to her irrational fears of wolves and getting a glass globe to put over her because she's scared of drafts.

>> No.14417169

I personally can't see why this means that Saint-Exupéry wanted to have sex with the prince, but then again you are very much a cumbrain

>> No.14417221

>>14417169
I'm not saying the author desired the prince, I'm saying his fantasy companion was a willowy other-worldly young lad with pale skin and languid manners in beautiful clothes who comes from a star and describes how he journeyed to earth via a series of planetoids inhabited by a series of men all of whom he rejected for their various faults in order to finally end up hanging around with Antoine.
