How does one actually focus the time into reading literature? I find that due to the internet and my lack of focus and concentration because of ADHD I can't read for more than a few minutes. I feel as if I'm stunted in a way. I've collected quite a bit of books and I've read a little bit here or there but due to the lack of focus and the paranoia that 1984 / farenheight451 / brave new world instilled in me I just horde books and don't read them because, "who would steal their information from books? That's illegal"

Someone help me out of this way of thinking. I read parts of the red book and it terrified me. I only read liber Novus but it scared the shit out of me. Oh God it keeps happening.

Why is it so hard to read books in the post post modern era?
