are her books really about awesome people being awesome? i think only 0.05 % of the people here in germany have ever heard of her. i have never read one of her books

Just bought Atlas Shrugged a few days ago, what is lit's general stance on it?

But yeah, her books are basically that. All of her protagonists are these ubermensch kind of people who are perfect in every way.

Her books don't focus on story though, she basically just uses it as a podium to talk about her ideas.
I just started Atlas Shrugged, but I know near the end of there is some speech which is like, 80 pages long.
I think that speaks for itself.
