I wrote this poem to my girlfriend, this is my first ever poem, I was wondering how did I do?

The day we met, and you had that tea,
I asked and my friend listened, it was a gift,
Life turned to something new, no more adrift,
Sight only for me, for others impossible to see;

The smile that spreads joy, so divine, ideal,
Her nature far humane, humble and demure,
Soul so pure, for my sorrow an eternal cure;
The amount of love created is alone unreal.
