Even /sci/ believes in God while /lit/ doesn't

>> No.14195921

Neither are particularly intelligent. 80% of the threads on either will usually be nazi stuff and woman hating. /sp/ usually has a more intelligent and self aware user base than /lit/, which is largely a haven for self-deluding idiots who think reading a book means they are smart

The fact that this anon actually thinks the average IQ of /lit/ users is 147 proves that this board is filled with retards.
>>14195921
This guy's first two sentences are accurate. /lit/ and /sci/ are just places where pseudointellectuals blogpost their lives, discuss politics and their inability to have sex. /sci/ seems to be more consistent though.

He doesn't, it's just a shitposting image autist.

if thats the case then so is everything within our percieved reality.

Maths is actually intepretation of properties within the universe. There is a good chance when people stop exsisting, the properties still do. (based on countless of deaths where life continues)

There is literally thousands of proofs for this reason. It's a basic blueprint no different to the measurements of height describing any property.

Yes, and?

"Property" is a naïve metaphysical position, though it's one that most people believe in. Weirdly, the best refutation of the whole object/property/event worldview is computer science: they're engaged in a long-term effort to reconstruct the world as a collection of objects and their properties, and it never works. And, bless their hearts, they always blame it on a particular model of objects (i.e., "object-oriented programming is dead; long live object-oriented programming"), rather than understanding that objects and properties is how we interpret a world that has nothing to do with objects and properties.

/lit/ makes your retard stoner friend who just discovered his pet religion/ideology/self-help book/entry level novelist and will not shut the fuck up about it look like a genius

/sci/ is shit /lit/ is ludicrous

I think they do a better job at staying on-topic in their threads, but they also have no tolerance for any kind of metaphysical questions because science itself can't provide anything close to an answer that isn't extremely, empirically autistic.
