Progress should be orderly, but not to the point where there's no progress at all.

For an evolutionary system to be flexible it must balance repetition/reproduction with mutation/variation. This "balance" itself is always in flux and relative to the particular givens of a situation. This is true not just of organisms but ideas, dreams, and personalities. This is the central dynamic behind organicist and process thought:

>for Bergson, calculus is more than just a handy metaphor or analogy, but rather, he indeed aimed at framing an approach to the organicist world hypothesis that employs the calculus as its actual method of discovery (i.e., differentiation) and explanation (i.e., integration), and that every discovery is the inverse of an explanation and every explanation the derivative of a discovery.

I generally prefer the green-pilled presentation of the matter at hand more than the pseud presentation.

What is the pseud presentation? Discordianism?

I'm assuming it's the organicist/evolutionary/ecosystemic angle of process philosophy. There's quite a few other currents I've identified, for example perspectivism is strongly connected to optical systems and often involves optical analogies.
