you know when you withdraw from friends and stop going to classes in favor of reading masturbating and drinking and you develop astoundingly sad crushes on writers which are about one step removed from falling in love with anime characters

> you develop astoundingly sad crushes on writers which are about one step removed from falling in love with anime characters

I think it's a few steps above anime characters. Authors expose a lot of their inner workings in their books. It's much more intimate than some cartoon character you learn about in some seasons.

I'm now waiting for /a/ to come bomb this place.

I've never had a crush on an author, personally. Most of the time, I like authors less the more familiar I am with them, their work is mildly ruined for me. I guess that's weird, but it makes me mix it up a bit & never read the same author two books in a row

Is it more embarrassing to long for Kimiko based on her moe appeal or James Franco based purely on his literary talent?

>> No.1418433

>>1418430
By far the latter. Because James Franco isn't really a good writer.

Familiar like when they turn out to have a few good ideas that they just repeat over and over again in book after book, or familiar like when you listen to an interview with them and they come off insufferable

Can't blame you.

I've got friction burns and the doc says the damage to the ligaments in my wrist my be permanent. The cause: this sexy little minx.

I suppose the former, but it's kind of more of a recognition of their formula, even if they're not that kind of author. I try to keep myself blissfully ignorant of the actual personalities of the people who produce things I like, be it books, music, or even movies... makes it worse

Hello :)

Looks like you're using the following illegal /lit/ term: Tybrax

Just a reminder:

>Filter the Brax! Ignore the Brax! Forget the Brax!

Please help bring unawareness of You Know Who by refraining from using this term.

Have a nice day!

Nice sarcasm, btw ;)

Hi my name is Ebony Dark’ness Dementia Raven Franzen and I have long ebony black hair (that’s how I got my name) with purple streaks and red tips that reaches my mid-back and icy blue eyes like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like Amy Lee (AN: if u don’t know who she is get da hell out of here!). I’m not related to Jonathan Franzen but I wish I was because he’s a major fucking hottie.
